What is FRBR? (Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records)
As we are cruising into the era of RDA (the “rule book” that will replace AACRII), I thought I’d do a bit of reading and I found this article called What is FRBR? A Conceptual Model for the Bibliographic Universe by Barbara Tillett of the Library of Congress. It’s clear and easy to read and will give you a bit of an idea about the concepts that underpin RDA.
